The Grayshield range of protection shields are made from Barium Sulphate, providing effective lead-free protection.

Featuring hypoallergenic adhesive tabs to ensure the shield is securely fitted.

Designed for single use only, to prevent possible cross-contamination. Easily disposed of safely along with any normal medical waste.

The shields are sold in packs of 50 individual units.

LEAD EQUIVALENCE

• The 0.25mm LE provides effective protection against scatter radiation to the thyroid gland.
• A practical dose reduction of up to 60% during CT and general Xray examinations.
• Over 80% dose reduction throughout the range of 80kV to 150kV.
